Principal's Message

Welcome To Mountain View Elementary School!

Mountain View is a school that focuses on primary learning while educating the whole child.  The moment you walk through our doors you will notice that there is a whole lot of learning going on. Students are provided many opportunities to own their learning by participating in a variety of interest groups that support their love for inquiry. Along with self-discovery, students work hard at being responsible, respectful and safe. Additionally, Mountain View has a strong culture and community. We have enduring relationships among students, staff, families and our community.  MVE is a safe place where everyone is supported and encouraged to be their very best. While we are centered around student learning, there isn’t one place in MVE where students, staff and parents aren’t having fun. --Millie Grotts, Principal

volunteer of the month

MVE is proud to announce that for the month of September,
Amanda B.
MVE's Volunteer of the Month!

What doesn't Amanda do?!?  Not only is she a VERY active member of our PTO, but she also serves on both the MVE & NE SAC as the PTO Liaison.  As if that is not enough, she also volunteers in her children's classroom!
 Thank you Amanda!
