My name is Erika Powers and I am excited to begin my fifth year at Mountain View! I have taught 2nd grade for 4 years at MVE. I am excited to be the Gifted and Talented Facilitator and Intervention Specialist this school year!

I grew up in Connecticut and went to college at James Madison University in Virginia. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in 2012 and completed my Master’s degree in teaching the following year. I taught primary grades for five years in Virginia before moving to Colorado.

Way to give back- I love to volunteer with dog rescues. I fostered 3 dogs this summer from Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue!
