Mountain View Elementary is a PK–2 primary school in Parker’s Pinery neighborhood, dedicated to nurturing the growth of every student academically, socially, and emotionally. Our students are the heart of our community, and we encourage them to explore, create, and think independently in a joyful and supportive environment.
Our Mission
We strive to create a positive learning environment where young children are inspired to reach their highest potential. Our staff fosters personalized learning opportunities, celebrates each child’s strengths, and encourages students to take risks, develop leadership skills, and grow as learners.
School Traditions
Founded in 1980, Mountain View has a rich history of creating meaningful experiences for students. One of our most cherished traditions is the end-of-year “clap out,” where students and staff cheer departing 2nd graders on their way to Northeast Elementary. The celebration continues with a family picnic, marking new beginnings with excitement and community spirit.
